About Jerry's Tire Shop

Jerry's Tire Shop is a tire shop in Owensboro, Kentucky. It is listed at 904 W 9th St, Owensboro, KY 42303, which places it among the local businesses of Owensboro that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

Hours are published for 5 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Jerry's Tire Shop at (270) 313-4247; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 87 reviews, which is a strong result for a tire shop in Owensboro and suggests consistent service.

I usually go to the tire shop and are very pleased with the service I receive but this time I arrived at 7:15 am and I DO know when they first open they have an influx of customers because they only have one bay that they work from however I didn’t have cash on hand and had to go get cash. There was one car ahead of me, when I returned there were two more besides the one that was ahead of me! I was very frustrated that they didn’t even acknowledge that I had previously been there but had to wait an additional 2 hours because I had to go get cash!

Great people! They patched my tire and plugged it, even though I went in thinking I needed a new one. Come to find out the previous shop was looking to get a sale, while they are looking out for you! Go to Jerry’s!

2 front tires were in bad shape. Wasn’t in a situation to buy new ones yet. Only shop here in town that had the size I needed. Went straight there got me in/out in a short time. 2 older men both took great care of me. If you’re looking for used tires I definitely recommend them.

Had my young adult son go and they not only over charged for putting 2 tires on then wrongly removed 1 of my good tires and left the one with a nail in it on the car they also kept that good tire and didn't even mention that. The new, slightly larger tires were put on the front when balancing them but we needed them on the back. When I returned the next day they were going to charge me $40 to move them to the rear where they were supposed to be in the first place. Ended up going somewhere else for that. I honestly feel like they took advantage of the situation bc my son had no prior experience with taking the car for repairs.

These guys are the cheapest around and they do the best job ever! Brought 2 sets of tires to have swapped on the rims and took them maybe 30 minutes max. Highly recommend!
